Do You Qualify for Spanish Citizenship?

✅ Be a direct descendant of a Spanish citizen born in Spain:

• If you are a grandchild: You can apply directly.
• If you are a great-grandchild: Your parent (the grandchild) must also apply. If they are deceased, you can submit a «post-mortem» application.
• If you are a great-great-grandchild: Both your parent (great-grandchild) and grandparent (grandchild) must apply. If both are deceased, you CANNOT apply.

• Date of birth of your Spanish ancestor.
• Place of birth of your Spanish ancestor.
